Our Position
We do not tolerate modern slavery, forced labour or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain, and we expect the same standard from suppliers and partners we work with.
Recruitment and Supply Chains
Our own recruitment practices are conducted directly and transparently. Where we engage suppliers, we have regard to modern slavery risk as part of our due diligence.
Statutory Position
The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires commercial organisations with an annual turnover of £36 million or more to publish an annual statutory transparency statement. Morgan Smith Immigration’s turnover is well below this threshold, so we are not subject to that statutory requirement. We nonetheless maintain a voluntary commitment to the principles above, and this page serves as our own public statement of that commitment.
Reporting and Escalation
Any concern about modern slavery or trafficking, whether relating to our own business, a supplier, or raised by a client, is escalated internally and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities.
Training
Staff receive awareness training on recognising indicators of modern slavery and trafficking, consistent with our wider safeguarding approach.
