Under what conditions can a partner or child on a Student visa switch to an High Potential Individual visa?

If they are on a Student visa, they can switch to an High Potential Individual visa only if they have completed the course they were sponsored to study or have studied for a PhD for at least 24 months.

Do my partner and children also need to prove financial self-sufficiency?

Yes, your partner and children will need to demonstrate that they can support themselves while in the UK. You should contact us to discuss the specific amount required for your maintenance.

What evidence is required to prove the relationship with a dependant?

Applicants must provide documentation confirming the relationship, such as marriage certificates for spouses or civil partners, proof of cohabitation for unmarried partners, and birth certificates for children.
