What are the requirements for the Graduate Trainee visa?

In order to get a Graduate Trainee visa, the applicant must:
– have a valid proof of sponsorship from their employer;
– have worked for their employer outside the UK for 3 months right before applying;
– be employed in a job that is on the list of eligible occupations;
– be paid at least the minimum salary allowed for their job

Is it possible to switch into UK Graduate Trainee visa?

You cannot apply to switch to a Graduate Trainee visa from within the UK because you must have worked for your employer overseas for at least three months prior to applying. You must leave the UK by the end of your granted stay.

How much does the Graduate Trainee visa application cost?

When an applicant applies for a Graduate Trainee visa, they must have enough money to:
– Pay a registration fee of £298;
– Pay the healthcare surcharge, which is generally £624 per year Subject to increase to £1,308 per year;
– If they intend to live on their own when they arrive in the UK, they’ll usually need at least £1,270 (unless they’re excluded).

How long is GBM: Graduate Trainee visa valid for?

If your application is successful, you will be granted a visa that allows you to stay in the UK for up to 12 months or the time given on your certificate of sponsorship, whichever is shorter

You cannot extend your visa, but you can apply for another Graduate Trainee visa from outside the UK if you meet the eligibility criteria again

Can you switch from a Graduate Trainee Visa to another Category?

No, but you can leave the UK and apply for another Graduate Trainee visa from outside the country.

Can a Graduate Trainee visa refusal be appealed?

If an application for a Graduate Trainee visa is denied by the Home Office UKVI, they can request an Administrative Review but not appeal the decision.

Yes, you can bring your partner and children with you as your dependants, if they are eligible. They will need to apply for their own visas and pay the same fees and charges as you.
